Buy, Sell, and Trade Penn State GameDay Buttons

Who Am I?

Hello there! I am Russell Beck, an avid collector of Penn State GameDay buttons who started this website as a landing page for collecting, trading, buying, and selling. I am a third generation Penn Stater, myself a 2011 graduate, and grew up locally in Tyrone.

I started collecting Penn State football buttons in the early 2000s when my grandfather gave me a souvenir cup full of ones he had worn to games. My father also had some buttons from the 1980s when his father would mail them to him while attending Penn State. I quickly turned to eBay, then only about five years old, to fill in my gaps. Back then, Penn State used to have a setup at the Bryce Jordan Center during Blue White weekend where, for a donation to the Norm Constantine Scholarship Fund, you could grab dozens of buttons sorted by year. These methods substantially grew my collection until recently when I bought large collections to tick off the rarest of the rare.

Now, my whole family is in the act of collecting these buttons. We trek from antique store to estate sale trying to uncover hidden gems for our collection, and to help out other collectors.

I have every Penn State football button and variant created except the unicorn – blue Skin the Bears. I am working diligently on my Winter Sports collection and have a sizeable Student Book Store set, as well.

I am available to help you complete your collection, be that via my own stock or by putting you in contact with others who have sizable collections. I can help you display your collection, or sell it once you are done. I am always open to trading or just to chat about the button program.

I do not intend to set up my own storefront, instead I will conduct business via eBay, Facebook Marketplace, or in person. This website serves as a landing page for those!

I have numerous Penn State buttons that would like to sell if you are interested in buying any or all of them. They range from 1973 to 2012. The quantity varies by year, sometimes one game, sometimes many games per year. Most games I have 2 buttons per game. If you are interested, I can probably update your spreadsheet listing and send it back to you, so you can see what I have. We are downsizing and not taking the buttons with us.

Hey Sue! Thanks for reaching out. Give me a call anytime: 814-414-1213 or email at pennstatefootballbuttons@gmail.com. If you send a few photos, that might be easier than filling out the spreadsheet for all those game.
